Chris Peters is responsible for all aspects of physical and cybersecurity. He is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce National Security Task Force which is responsible for developing and advancing U.S. Chamber of Commerce policy related to cybersecurity, supply chain, customs and trade facilitation, public-private partnerships, and emergency preparedness. In addition to serving as a U.S. Marine Corps Reserves intelligence officer in the Fleet Marine Force and Defense Intelligence Agency, his professional experience includes serving as the lead business information security officer for GlaxoSmithKline, Vice President of Cybersecurity Solutions for ICF International, and operations manager for Intel Corporation.
Chris Peters holds a Master’s in IT Management from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Greenville College in addition to certifications as an information security manager from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association and an information privacy manager from the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He also completed the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education Program in Cybersecurity.
